Simple Ways to Create a Cozy, More Natural Home This Fall
Fall naturally brings us back home.
The windows close a little earlier, blankets come out, candles get lit, and evenings become slower. It’s one of our favorite seasons for making home feel warm and inviting.
And creating that cozy feeling doesn’t have to mean filling your home with artificial scents.
Let Candlelight Set the Mood
There’s something about real candlelight that instantly makes a room feel warmer.
We love the soft golden glow of pure beeswax candles, especially during the shorter days of fall. Add a cozy blanket, a good book, or dinner around the table and sometimes that’s all you need.
Bring the Outside In
Fall gives us some of the easiest natural decorations.
Branches, pinecones, dried flowers, pumpkins, herbs, and colorful leaves can bring warmth and texture into your home without needing much else.
Even a few clipped branches in a simple vase can completely change a space.
Create Natural Fall Aromas
You don’t need an artificial pumpkin-scented plug-in to make your home smell like fall.
Try simmering orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, apples, or rosemary on the stove. Bake something from scratch. Or light a beeswax candle scented with pure essential oils.
The aroma may be softer than synthetic fragrance, but that’s exactly what we love about it.
Slow Down a Little
Sometimes creating a cozy home has less to do with what you buy and more to do with how you live in it.
Light a candle at dinner.
Take a warm bath.
Put your phone down for an hour.
Make something warm to drink.
Open the windows on a crisp afternoon.
Fall is a beautiful reminder that wellness can be found in very ordinary moments.
A warm home. Simple ingredients. Slower evenings.
That sounds like fall to us.
